Freemont-Smith Crowned IOD 2021 Champion
The final day of the International One Design Class 85th Anniversary & World Championship 2021 in the Great Sound saw Tom Freemont-Smith crowned Champion.
Two more races were sailed, Freemont-Smith finished 5th in the first race of the day and the ninth of the series, and then crossed the line 1st in the second race, Freemont-Smith finished with 21 net points.
John Burnham and Peter Rugg finished in second place this after they finished 7th in the first race, and then crossed the line 2nd in the second race, and they came off the water with 23 net points.
Bermuda’s Patrick Cooper finished in 3rd, this after winning the first race and then 6th in the second race, he had 29 net points.
