Bermuda Sailors Continue In Invitational Cup
The fourth day of the 2021 Rolex New York Yacht Club Invitational Cup took place in Rhode Island, with the Bermuda team recording some higher finishes.
The Bermuda boat skippered by James Macdonald, along with his crew Jon Corless, Tom Miller, Lexa Macdonald, Jeff Roach, Walter Smith, Paul Watson and Alison Hill, had their best day on the water, although they remain in last place in the 19 boat fleet.
Macdonald and his crew finished the first race in 18th place, then finished 16th in the second race, and then finished 13th in the final race of the day.
Macdonald and his crew have 177 points, while the Southern Yacht Club boat skippered by John Lovell representing the USA continues as the leader with 39 points.
