Video & Results: Labour Day 5K Road Race

[Updated] The island is marking Labour Day today [Sept 6] and while there is not an official Labour Day March scheduled the annual 5k road race and walk is being held, hosted by the Swan’s Running Club. We will update with the results as able once the race concludes, and in the meantime the live video is below.

Update 10.05am: Teddy Shum and Gayle Lindsay are the Labour Day 5K Road Race 2021 Male and Female Champions.

Shum clocked a winning time of 16:25, with Sean Trott finishing second in 16:49, and Domico Watson finished third with a time of 17:11.

Lindsay was the 9th runner to cross the line with a time of 19:03, Catherine Mello was the second female finisher and 19th overall clocking 21:41, and Liana Medeiros was the third female finisher and 21st over with a time of 21:52.

Tajahri Rogers won the Junior race with a time of 7:20, Jayson Simons was second in 7:25, and Jaelyn Grant was third with a time of 7:32.
