Tennis: Bermuda U12 Team Defeat St. Lucia
Bermuda’s 2021 ITF/COTECC Under 12 Team of Jaden Jones, Tristan Pettit, and Dexter Snaith were looking to improve to 3-1 as they took to the court for their fourth match of the tournament, which is taking place in St. Lucia.
Making his singles debut, Snaith took on Peter Murray, coming away with a straight-sets 6-0, 6-1 victory.
Pettit doubled the Bermuda lead when he defeated Ahlil Cyril in straight sets 6-3, 6-1.
Snaith and Jones then took to the court for the doubles, taking on Murray and Cyril. The Bermuda pair fell in the first set 7-6, but then staged a comeback to claim the victory by winning the second set 6-2, sending the game into a third set super breaker, which they won 10-6.
