Finnigan Named To St. Mary’s Coaching Staff
James Finnigan has been named to the St. Mary’s University Men’s and Women’ Tennis staff as a Graduate Assistant.
“Finnigan spent the 2020-2021 season playing for St. Mary’s helping the team to an NCAA Regional Final. During his time with St. Mary’s Tennis, Finnigan played #1 Doubles and #4 in Singles,” the Texas-based University said.
“Finnigan represented Bermuda in the Davis Cup during the summer. In his Davis Cup debut, Finnigan won two of his three Doubles matches against Honduras and Trinidad and Tobago. Finnigan helped lead Bermuda to their best ever finish in the Davis Cup, placing 6th in the competition.
“Previously, Finnigan spent the majority of his college career at Florida Tech where he was one of their top Doubles players and received votes for the SSC Freshman of the Year.”
