BNAA Introduces Athlete Focus Programme
The Bermuda National Athletic Association [BNAA] has announced the introduction of an Athlete Focus programme to “help athletes prepare academically as well as athletically.”
A spokesperson said, “This Focus programme is the brain-child of BNAA’s Vice-President Allison Outerbridge. Allison is a former stand-out track star for Bermuda, who earned a full scholarship and competed for the University of Tennessee has the desire not only to give back but to also to ensure athletes and their parents are knowledgeable and prepared to acquire athletic scholarships.
“In conjunction with the Focus programme, BNNA Director Vanessa Turner is developing an infographic that will enable parents to understand at glance on where their children are developmentally in athletics and where they have the potential to grow.”
