Field Hockey: Falcons, Islanders & Pirates Win
The Bermuda Field Hockey Federation League season resumed with a triple-header that produced 13 goals at the National Sports Center.
Pink Robins 1 – Bermuda Hockey Association Falcons 2
The Bermuda Hockey Association Falcons took the lead in the 18th minute with a field goal off the stick of Jayden Pacheco. The Pink Robins evened the game a 1 – 1 with Alyssa DeSilva scoring from a penalty corner in the 33rd minute. In the 58th minute, the Bermuda Hockey Association Falcons took the lead with a field goal off the stick of Freddie Taite.
Hawks 1 – Islanders 5
Hemijah Bean scored two goals to lead the Islanders to a 5 – 1 win over the Hawks. Xyaire Smith, Jayden Pacheco, and Zahari Minors all added a goal each for the Islanders, while Mauro Van De Berg scored the lone goal for the Hawks.
Dragons 1 – Pirates 3
The Pirates defeated the Dragons 3 – 1. Donnie Simmons opened the scoring for the Pirates when he scored from a penalty stroke in the 15th minute, Jayden Pacheco doubled the Pirates lead in the 28th minute scoring from a field goal. The Dragons pulled a goal back in the 33rd minute when Mallory Towlson scored a field goal, before Samuel Thompson restored the Pirates two-goal lead with a field goal in the 51st minute.
