Hamilton Parish, Wolves & Dandy Town Win

Hamilton Parish, Wolves, and the Dandy Town Hornets all earned wins in this weekend’s football action.

Young Men Social Club 2 -  Hamilton Parish 4

At the Police Field, Hamilton Parish advanced to the First Round of the FA Challenge Cup with a 4 -2 win over Young Men Social Club.

Shakeem Albouy gave Hamilton Parish the lead in the 9th minute, Jordan Outerbridge doubled the lead in the 32nd minute when he converted from the penalty spot, and on the stroke of halftime, Clay Darrell pulled a goal back for Young Men Social Club.

Quinn Outerbridge restored the Hamilton Parish two-goal lead when he scored in the 50th minute, however Jahmir Lewis-Trott pulled Young Men Social Club within one again scoring in the 68th minute, and Albouy scored his second goal of the game to make the final score 4 – 2.

Vasco 1 – Wolves 5

At the Southampton Oval, Wolves put their name in the hat for the FA Challenge Cup First Round after they defeated Vasco 5 – 1.

Vasco took the lead in the 19th minute through a goal from Shawn Brown, but one minute later the scores were level as London Steede scored. Morricko Iris gave Wolves the lead in the 34th minute before Kyle Brangman made it 3 – 1 finding the back of the net in the 39th minute.

Iris added his second goal of the game in the 58th minute making it 4 – 1, and he then completed his hat-trick with a strike in the 88th minute earning Wolves the big win.

Dandy Town Hornets 1 – Somerset Trojans 0

At the BAA Field, the Dandy Town Hornets made it three wins in a row with a 1 – 0 win over the visiting Somerset Trojans.

The lone goal of the game came in the 34th minute when Tomiko Goater scored for the Dandy Town Hornets.
