New Island-Wide CCTV System Planned
The Ministry of National Security will “advance a new island-wide CCTV system” it was announced in today’s Throne Speech.
The relevant part of today’s [Nov 5] Throne Speech said, “For Bermuda to thrive, it must remain a safe place to live and work. Public safety will be enhanced by marrying technology to crime prevention and detection.
“During this Session, the Ministry of National Security will advance a new island-wide CCTV system, which will include newer features to assist the police in tackling road traffic offences and violent crime.”
