Photos: Convening Of Parliament Throne Speech
[Updated with more photos] The Convening of Parliament took place this morning [Nov 5], with Governor Rena Lalgie delivering the 2021 Throne Speech, which outlines the Government’s Legislative Agenda for the year ahead.
Citing the “Public Health guidelines,” the Government previously advised that “this year’s Convening will be attended by a small group of members and it will be conducted without the customary ceremonial fanfare,” so the event did not include much of the the traditional pomp and circumstance.
