Vote Online: $1,000 Prize Student Art Contest
An inter-school art competition – which offers a top prize of $1,000 - is taking place, with the public voting starting today [Dec 6] and the winners set to be announced on December 15th.
A spokesperson said, “Margot Kerry Harvey and Travis Cooper are hosting an inter-school art competition, which is a middle and high school art competition for students aged 13 -19. Each school picks students to represent them.
“The judges are Sharon Aaliyah Muhammad, Gail Palacio and Dr. Edwin Smith. First prize is $1000, second prize is $500, and third prize is $250.
“Bermuda, we need your help. Please go online to vote for the People’s Choice Award for High School for $1000 and for the People’s Choice Award for Middle School for $100. This is your chance to choose a winner. The public voting starts Monday, December 6th.
“Vote online at harveycooperaward.com or stop by Brew on Front Street to look at the students’ artwork starting Monday, December 6th. Please wear your mask when going into Brew to view the student pop up art gallery. All artwork is for sale.
“Winners will be announced on December 15th.
