A/Commissioner of Police Darrin Simons said, “The SCC is UK policing’s most senior leadership development programme that brings together Senior Police, Military and Civil Service leaders from the UK and overseas, for learning and leadership development at the highest level.”

“The programme is demanding and requires participants to bring their absolute best. Both the learning and often life long relationships that are developed will pay dividends to the Bermuda Police Service and the wider community for years to come.

“On behalf of the service, I congratulate ACOP Weekes on his exceptional performance and look forward to the many contributions he will no doubt make as a result of this training.”

Mr. Weekes’ Syndicate Director wrote: “Martin immersed himself in the whole SCC experience, both from a learning and social perspective. He was instrumental in building the team ethos in the syndicate and brought some fascinating inputs from an overseas perspective which served to enrich the syndicate experience.
