Olde Towne Carolers To Host Four Performances

The Olde Towne Carolers are set to perform in St. George’s, at the Hamilton Princess, in Dockyard and at Rosewood Bermuda over the next few days.

A spokesperson said, “Planning Factory Bermuda announces The Olde Towne Carolers will perform locally through an Experiences Grant awarded by Bermuda Tourism Authority.

“An Experiences Application for funding was made available in September, and Planning Factory Bermuda, developers of the Carolers entertainment concept, submitted a plan for approval to get Bermudian entertainers back to doing what they love—performing for visitors and the general public!

“These Bermudian professionally trained voices will entertain a-capella this Christmas Season wearing beautifully 18th-century-dressed clothing, including bonnets, long capes, muffs, and top hats! All performances are for a 2-hour period, with The Olde Towne Carolers able to move to various locations within the 2-hour period.

“Chorale Organizer Sheila Smith, “Bermuda’s First Lady of Soul”, has assembled the finest musical talent on island to regale in style. The holidays represent a season of hope. “Performance dates as times are as follows:

  • St. George’s shopping district – December 18, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Hamilton Princess Hotel & Beach Club – December 19, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Dockyard Clocktower, Ferry Station area – December 19, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. [roaming]
  • Rosewood Bermuda – December 22, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. [roaming]
