Warwick Swimmers Begin Winter Championships
The 31st Annual Speedo Winter Championships got underway in Plantation Florida, with a team of swimmers from the Warwick Academy taking part.
During the women’s 200 yard medley relay, the team of Elanna Fulton, Adriana Argent, Daria Desmond, and Tayla Horan finished 12th clocking a time of 1:55.98.
Taylor White, Bella Howes, Horan, and Marleigh Howes finished 7th competing in the women’s 200 yard freestyle relay clocking 1:39.61.
In the 13-14 women’s 50 yard backstroke final, Marleigh Howes won the silver medal clocking a time of 29.17, while Fulton finished in 7th touching the wall in a time of 28.79. Marleigh Howes would then finish 7th in the 13-14 women’s freestyle final clocking a time of 24.63.
Bella Howes won the 15-16 women’s 50 yard freestyle final clocking 25.08, during the women’s 13 & over 500 yard freestyle final.
