Netball: BNA Youth & Senior Leagues Results
The latest round of action for the Bermuda Netball Association took place, with a number of matches in various divisions.
Under 11 Who’s Who Tournament
The Under 11 Who’s Who Tournament took place with the Rangers crowned champions, while the Storm ended as runners up.
The Rangers defeated the Phoenix Sparks 17 – 1, the Rangers MVP was Eleanor Kurlualeba, while the MVP for the Phoenix Sparks was Shiloh Simons.
The Storm would then defeat the Phoenix Sparks 19 – 2, the Storm MVP was Diya Steede, while the Phoenix Sparks MVP was Nahla Robinson.
The Storm defeated the North Village Lady Rams 11 – 4, Kelise Wade was named the Storm MVP, while the North Village Lady Rams MVP was Kenzie McCrary.
Under 14 Division
The North Village Lady Rams defeated Rangers 12 – 10. The North Village Lady Rams got 7 goals from Starr Bowen, while Aniyah Minors added 5 goals, with Jayda Walker named the teams MVP, Southampton Rangers MVP Saajida Daniels scored 7 times, with Ameerah Richardson Swan scored 3 times.
In the other match in the Division, the Storm Lightning defeated the Storm Thunder 27 – 12. Storm Lightning MVP Jamir Hatherley led them to victory with 13 goals, while Jahzyah Brimmer added 11 goals, and Canasia Wolfe scored 3 times. Ameerah Outerbridge scored 7 goals for the Storm Thunder, while Malaysia Furbert added 5 goals, Furbert and Kelise Wade would be named the teams MVP
Under 17 Division
The Storm defeated the Phoenix Fire 28 – 20. MVP Amayah Burt led the Storm with 23 goals, Imani-Marie added 4 goals, and Jaelyn Rewan-Lambert scored once, the Phoenix Fire got 10 goals apiece from Makaylie Smith, and MVP K’xiyae Gibbons.
Senior Division
The Storm defeated the Docksiders 55 – 17. The Storm got 24 goals from Zakiyah Durham, Nabiilah Nasir added 20 goals, while MVP Debre Evans scored 9 goals, and Amali Smith scored twice. The Docksiders got 14 goals from T’yanna Hayward, with Charlie Blaus adding 3 goals, and Take Branch scored once, Polly Yule was named the MVP.
