BPS Congratulates Emmerson Carrington
The Bermuda Police Service congratulated Emmerson Carrington, who will officiate at the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, which is taking place in the Caribbean.
The Bermuda Police Service posted the photo online below yesterday, and said, “Congratulations to Ret. Insp. Emmerson Carrington who will officiate at the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, which takes place in the Caribbean from today, January 14 to February 5, 2022.
“Emmerson, who was born in Barbados, joined the Bermuda Police Service [BPS] in June 2003. His present posting is the BPS Offender Risk Management Team Coordinator and he continues to works closely with our sister services and other helping agencies.
“In addition to his policing duties, he has been a member of the Bermuda Cricket Board Umpires Association since 2010, and currently holds an Executive position of Assistant Secretary.
“He has officiated in International World Cup T20 Matches and since 2014 and he has been the Senior Umpiring Official in Bermuda’s Annual Cup Match Classic. His latest appointment on the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup umpires panel has made us very proud.
“Wishing you all the best Emmerson, we know you will represent Bermuda well.”
