Football: PHC Zebras & Devonshire Cougars Win
Footballers in the Premier Division were in action, with PHC Zebras and Devonshire Cougars both earning wins.
Devonshire Colts 0 – PHC Zebras 1
The PHC Zebras closed the gap on league leaders Dandy Town Hornets to four points following their 1 – 0 win at the National Sports Center North Field.
A 42nd minute strike from PHC Zebras captain Marco Warren earned the visitors the three points.
Somerset Eagles 1 – Devonshire Cougars 4
The Devonshire Cougars moved into third place following their 4 – 1 win over the Somerset Eagles at the Somerset Cricket Club.
Zari Simmons gave the Devonshire Cougars the lead in the 29th minute, and own goal in the 38th minute doubled the visitors lead and they took that 2 – 0 lead to the break.
Domico Coddington made it 3 – 0 to the Devonshire Cougars in the 52nd minute, Shakir Smith pulled a goal back for the Somerset Eagles in the 64th minute, and with three minutes remaining Zack Morris restored the Devonshire Cougars three goal lead.
