Hamilton Parish & Boulevard Blazers Win
Footballers in the First Division were in action this weekend, with Hamilton Parish and Boulevard Blazers both earning wins.
Young Men Social Club 1 Hamilton Parish 2
First Division league Leaders Hamilton Parish edged Young Men Social Club 2 – 1 at the Police Field.
Visitors Hamilton Parish took the lead in the 38th minute when Jordan Outerbridge scored, but on the stroke of half time Ryan Parris converted from the penalty spot to draw Young Men Social Club level.
The winner came one minute into the second half when Kneiko Richardson scored.
Boulevard Blazers 5 Vasco 1
At the BAA Field the Boulevard Blazers cruised to a 5 – 1 win over Vasco.
Ian Coke gave the Boulevard Blazers the lead in the 5th minute and doubled the lead four minutes later. Vasco got on the scoreboard in the 17th minute through a Lamaul Crofton strike, but Coke restored the Boulevard Blazers two goal lead with his hat-trick goal in the 31st minute.
Ten minutes into the second half Coke made it 4 – 1 to the Boulevard Blazers, and on the stroke of full time Kenyade McQueen found the back of the net for the Boulevard Blazers to make it 5 – 1.
