Large Group Exemption

Whereas the Minister of Youth, Culture and Sport considers that B. Sarah Ann Watson is justifying an exemption from the prohibition in regulation 5[5] of the Public Health [Covid-19 Emergency Powers] [Phased Re-opening] Regulations 2021 on groups of more than 20 persons assembling;

Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 5[5] of those Regulations to B. Sarah Ann Watson of 29 Cobbs Hill Road Paget PG03, permitting a gathering of 42 persons to assemble for the purposes of the funeral of Mark Tucker on 4th January 2022 from 11:00am to 12:00pm, at Marsden Memorial Church Yard and 151 South Shore Road Smiths HS01, subject to all public health laws and regulations in place at the time of your event, the standard large group conditions below.

Standard Large Group Conditions:

The number of attendees at any event cannot exceed 50% of the normal capacity at any indoor or outdoor setting. ‘Attendees’ include hosts, organizers, staff, volunteers, players, coaches, officials, spectators and vendors.

Both a SafeKey and an antigen test are required for attendees at gatherings above the permitted number of persons. Event workers and sport groups can use the antigen testing framework in the Return to Play Guidance. Now therefore, the Minister grants an exemption under regulation 5[5] of those Regulations to Elder Esther Trott of Shekinah Worship Ministries and 7 Boundary Lane St. George’s GE02, permitting a gathering of 50 persons to assemble for the purposes of a New Year’s Eve Service on 31st December 2021 from 10:00pm to 12:00am, at Shekinah Worship Centre and 98 North Shore Rd Hamilton CR 01, subject to all public health laws and regulations in place at the time of your event, the standard large group conditions below.

Standard Large Group Conditions:

The number of attendees at any event cannot exceed 50% of the normal capacity at any indoor or outdoor setting. ‘Attendees’ include hosts, organizers, staff, volunteers, players, coaches, officials, spectators and vendors.

Both a SafeKey and an antigen test are required for attendees at gatherings above the permitted number of persons.
