Carrick Competes In Men’s Championships
Taylor Carrick and his Western Ontario men’s squash teammates recently began competing in the Men’s Team Championship in Philadelphia.
Carrick and his teammates fell 7 – 2 to the University of Rochester.
Playing in the number three singles spot and taking on Abderlrahman Lasheen, Carrick battled Lasheen and came from two games down to win 3-2.
Carrick won the first game 11-7, then doubled his lead, winning the second game 11-8. Lasheen won the third game 11-3 and drew level at 2 – 2 after he won the fourth game 11-7.
In the deciding game, Lasheen claimed the victory by winning the fifth game 11-9.
