Cyclists Currently In 11th In Dominican Republic

Bermudian cyclists Conor White, Liam Flannery, Zander Miller, Nicholas Narraway and Dominque Mayho continued racing the XLIII Vuelta Ciclística Independencia Nacional in the Dominican Republic.

The seventh and final stage saw the competitors compete on the triumphal circuit on Health Avenue [South Mirador] with nine accumulative laps at 90 kilometers.

Cyclists 1 – 67 all recorded the same time of 1:57:22.

Mayho was the top Bermuda rider on the day crossing the line in 10th, White finished 46th, Flannery crossed the line 56th, Narraway finished 61st, while Miller finished 98th with a time of 1:58:25.

Mayho picked up 6 points on the Day.

Narraway led the Bermuda team overall, he finished in 20th place with a time of 28:14:51, he was 8 minutes and 34 seconds behind the overall leader Nelson Sanchez who has a time of 28:06:17.

White finished 37th overall with a time of 28:27.40, Flannery finished in 69th, while Mahyo finished in 74th, and Miller finished in 79th.

Narraway finished 4th in the Under 23 Division, he finished 5 minutes and 18 seconds behind the Division winner, Flannery finished 16th, and Miller was 21st.

Team Bermuda finished in 11th place with a seven-day total time of 85:21:11.
