Dr Brown Speaks With St George’s Prep Students
Dr. Kyjuan Brown of Northshore Medical Center recently spoke with students at St. George’s Preparatory as part of their Black History Month theme, with Dr Brown speaking about health and wellness.
He was invited by social studies teacher Tamara Sukdeo and Principal Gail Smith to take part on the online Zoom session held earlier this month,
Dr. Brown spoke to the class to share his work with students using photographs and videos, and the class was then asked to complete a class project on Dr. Brown’s work.
The Primary 5 students were excited about healthcare and had some challenging and interesting questions for Dr Brown, including why did he want to become a doctor, does he help people with skin conditions, how long as he been working in this field and how are skin colors different.
