“The film ‘Humpback Whale Songs & the Search for Alien Intelligence’ compares the complexities of terrestrial communication between overlooked yet intelligent animals, specifically the humpback whale, and what that could mean for our search for extraterrestrial intelligent life.

“The book ‘Little Whale’ is a story of migration, family, and the strength of parental love, encapsulated in the wonders of nature. Told through the eyes of a whale and her calf, this beautiful book is sure to inspire!

A spokesperson said, “There was such a warm response to ‘Kids Hour Saturdays’ last year, and with the number of requests and inquiries of when they would next start up, we knew we had to bring them back. We are excited to present a whole new selection of educational and fun ocean-themed films and books to all those who participate!”

“Kids Hour Saturdays are free for members [Single Parent through Adventurer Tier] and all care givers, and $2.50 per child for non-members. Please note, caregivers, but must stay on site for the hour.

“Mark your calendars for a subsequent selection of Kids Hour Saturdays taking place on Saturday March 19th and Saturday April 16th.

“Space is limited and advance registration is encouraged. To register for BUEI’s Kids Hour Saturdays, please call 294-0204.”
