“How Pollution Is Affecting Bermuda’s Wildlife”
The Bermuda Zoological Society will continue its Virtual Lecture Series with a talk entitled: How pollution is affecting Bermuda’s wildlife and why we should be concerned.
The lecture held on Zoom on Wednesday, March 30 at 7.30 pm, is presented by Dr Jamie Bacon, the Bermuda Zoological Society education officer and research associate.
Dr Bacon will describe how petroleum hydrocarbons and metals in the island’s ponds are causing severe effects in toads, endemic killifish, and pond terrapins.
