Phillips Wins First Round Match In Panama
Daniel Phillips began competing in the J4 Llanos de Curundu Casco Viejo Bowl Under 18 Tournament in Panama.
Phillips — fresh off his ITF J4 Bayamón Puerto Rico Bowl victory– took on Nicolas Steden from Mexico in the first round.
The Bermudian tennis player advanced in straight sets 6-2, 6-1, and he will now face Jai Dutta from the United States in his second round match.
