Photos, Video, 360: Skyport Magic Mile Event
The popular Skyport Magic Mile event returned, after being on hiatus due to the pandemic, with the island’s young runners taking to the track at the Flora Duffy South Field National Sports Center, with enthusiastic parents, family members and friends cheering them on.
Nathan Burrill won the boys 12-15 years age group race with a time of 5:21.97, Cameron Adkins was second with a time of 5:25.06, and Tobiah Goodchild finished 3rd with a time of 5:44.12.
In the girls 12-15 years age group race, Somers Estwanik clocked a winning time of 6:15.51, Aria Mosquera finished second with a time of 6:31.06, and Ella Shepherd finished third with a time of 6:44.81.
Kelise Wade won the girls 10-11 years age group race with a time of 6:30.36, Jaylen Lewis was second clocking 6:44.84, and Riana Robinson finished third with a time of 6:50.76.
The fastest time for the Boys 7 Years Age Group was run by Shanzae Smith who clocked 3:09.13, Liam Horrobin had the second-fastest time of 3:15.82, and Ezra Furbert-Butterfield finished third with a time of 3:22.15. You can view the full 2022 Skyport Magic Mile results here [PDF].
