Athletes Compete In Outdoor Track Meets
Three Bermuda track and field athletes began their outdoor seasons with their respective universities.
Keturah Bulford-Trott
Keturah Bulford-Trott made her University of Maryland, Baltimore County [UMBC] debut while competing at the Maryland Invitational.
She finished third in the women’s 100 dash heat 2 by clocking a time of 13.08; her time saw her finish 11th overall.
Bulford-Trott finished fourth in heat 1 of the women’s 200 dash, with her time of 26.09 placing her in fourth position overall.
Stephan Dill & Mikal Dill
Stephan Dill and Mikal Dill represented Johnson C. Smith University men’s track and field in their first outdoor meet of the 2022 season at the Bill Webb/Bob Davidson Invite, hosted by High Point University.
Stephan Dill finished 24th in the men’s 100m dash, clocking a time of 11.03. Dill then finished 28th during the men’s 200m dash after stopping the clock in a time of 23.12.
Competing in the men’s long jump, Mikal Dill finished 13th with a top leap of 6.36m. Dill also competed in the men’s triple jump, finishing sixth with a top leap of 12.95m.
