Casey Truran Helps SCAD Win Overall Series
Casey Truran and his Savannah College of Arts and Design [SCAD] Equestrian teammates won its ninth-consecutive National Tournament of Champions Overall Series.
The Overall Series title is awarded to the college with the two highest scores of the four horse shows in the series – Pre-Season Classic, Holiday Tournament, Winter Classic, and Spring Classic.
SCAD secured the championship with scores of 41 at the Holiday Tournament and 45 at the Winter Classic. SCAD has earned the Overall Series Titles in 2013-14, 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19, 2019-20, 2021, and 2021-22. SCAD was the champion team at the 2021-22 Holiday Tournament, Winter Classic, and Reserve Champion at the Pre-Season Classic.
