Photos: BFA Women’s League Season Opener
The Bermuda Football Association’s Women’s League got underway on Friday at the BFA field, with PHC taking on YMSC, followed by Footy Queens vs Dandy Stars, with PHC Lady Zebras and Footy Queens claiming the wins.
Chair of the Women’s Committee Charryse Bean previously said, “The Women’s Committee is excited to start back up the Women’s Football League. We strategically planned for this to happen at this very time and are grateful for all who trusted the process in this development. As the 6 teams take the field this weekend, we want to first take a moment to remember the players of the past and then look forward to the bright future of Women’s Football in Bermuda.”
