Video: ‘Truck Dumpster Separating From Vehicle’
The police received a call “regarding a garbage truck dumpster separating from the vehicle on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish” this afternoon [May 2].
A police spokesperson said, “Around 3:30pm today [2nd May 2022], a call was received regarding a garbage truck dumpster separating from the vehicle on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish, near Fractious Street.
“While there are no reports of injury or property damage, traffic flow in the area was temporarily reduced to one lane, while the dumpster was removed via crane.
“Police officers are currently assisting with traffic flow and motorists are still advised to proceed with caution when travelling through the North Shore Road, Fractious Street, Hamilton parish area – as sand has been spread over the road surface at that location to assist with the clean-up process. Any witnesses to this incident are encouraged to call 211.”

That is insanely dangerous and I look forward to charges being brought against the trucking company – people have been killed here by improperly secured loads and nothing will change unless prosecutions are carried out.
