Video: Bermuda Gombeys Open SailGP Event
The Bermuda SailGP presented by Hamilton Princess got underway today [May 14], and like all good events in Bermuda, it included an appearance from the island’s Gombeys, who made their way through the event village prior to the start of the event.
The competition features teams from Great Britain, the United States, New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Switzerland, Spain, Denmark, and France, with their high tech foiling F50 catamarans capable of speeds in the region of 100kph. You can view all of Bernews coverage of SailGP here.
