Comet sailing and Dinghy racing recently took place in St. George’s Harbour.
Comet Sailing
The 2022 Comet Sailboat season got underway in the St. George’s Harbour.
Fresh from his time leading the Bermuda team in the SSL Gold Cup, Rockal Evans won the regatta with 4 points.
Evans and his crew Taj Maxwell finished second in the first race of the day, before winning races two and three.
Gladwin Lambert and his crew Stephen Maybury finished second overall, this after winning the first race and then sailed to two-second place finishes for their 5 points.
Quinton Simons and his crew Gregory Proctor finished third with 10 points, this after finishing 3rd in the first race, they then finished 4th in the second race, before closing out with a 3rd place finish in the third race.
Zaniko Hendrickson and his crew Napri Pitt finished with 12 points on the day to finish 4th.
Dinghy Racing
The 2022 Dinghy racing season got underway in the St. George’s Harbour, with three boats going to the start line.
Contest III won two of the three races on the day, they picked up wins in the Heritage Trophy & Anniversary Cup, while Elizabeth II won the Leon D. Fox Cup race.
