The Ministry received 4,992 test results — spanning 7 days — and 195 were positive, so there are now 251 active cases, of which 3 people are in hospital, and the Ministry noted that “testing numbers decreased by nearly 50%, partly related to the U.S. no longer requiring travellers to show proof of a negative Covid test before boarding flights to the country.”

A Government spokesperson said, “Since the last update, the Ministry of Health received 4992 test results, and 195 were positive for the coronavirus, giving a test positivity rate of 4%. 2. Ringmaster says:

PLP Government peddling more inaccurate information, just like the cost of inflation. Covid numbers only reflect what tests are recorded by Government. How many test at home and don’t report positives? They seem to have invented a fourth definition to the “lies, damn lies and statistics” adding “PLP Government figures”.
Stop the nonsense, fire the Minister and save a salary and perks and give the role to the Premier.
