Thompson Departs London City Lionesses
London City Lionesses confirmed that Bermudian footballer Kenni Thompson was one of several players departing the club following the conclusion of the season.
Speaking on the players departing, Head Coach Melissa Phillips said, “We’ve come so far in such a short amount of time as a club and to achieve our highest ever league finish along with first victories over WSL opposition is true testament to the impact of every member of the team.
“With the close of each season, changes are always presented within the squad and we are grateful for the commitment and contribution which these players made along the journey.
“A few who have been a part of the club since the start, will always be a part of the foundations set for future successes. We wish each player departing the best in their next chapter and will always closely follow their journey.”
