Zuill Wins Tony Desilva Memorial Cup
The final of the 2022 Tony DeSilva Memorial Cup was held at the Spanish Point Boat Club and featured Tyler Moniz of Spanish Point Boat Club Two against Keino Zuill of Watford Sports Club.
The final was a race to 4 games. Moniz opened the scoring with a thrilling black ball finish to take the 1st game 54-46. Zuill reciprocated with an equally thrilling black ball finish, taking the 2nd game 63-52.
With the score level at 1 – 1, Zuill took a 2-1 lead in the next, winning it 57-33, starting what was to be an impressive winning streak.
Zuill stormed into a 2 game lead when he dispatched Moniz 62-29 in the 4th game. The match concluded with a 65-21 finish for Zuill in the 5th, winning him his 1st major title with a 4-1 victory.
