Reserve Police Embodied During Cup Match
The Bermuda Reserve Police will be embodied on Thursday 28th July and Friday 29th July — which is Cup Match.
The most recent official notices stated, “In accordance with the provisions of Section 16 of the Police Act, 1974, Her Excellency the Governor, Ms. Rena Lalgie has granted permission for the embodiment of the Bermuda Reserve Police for the dates Thursday 28th July and Friday 29th July, 2022.”
The police normally ramp up their presence over the holiday, previously saying they work “with our community and partner agencies to ensure a safe and peaceful Cup Match holiday.”
