Kempe & Stovell In Action Again In Texas
Sebastian Kempe and Nicole Stovell continued competing in the 2022 ILCA 6 Youth World Championship at the Houston Yacht Club in Texas.
Two more races were sailed on the third day in the men’s and women’s divisions, with sailors able to throw out their worst race thus far.
Stovell came off the water down one spot from her starting position of 14th. She finished the first race of the day and the fifth of the series in 13th, and then finished 19th in the second race of the day, to conclude with 74 net points.
Kempe started the day in 8th place, and when the day was finished, he remained in 8th place with 17 net points. Kempe finished the first race of the day in 3rd, before crossing the line in 4th in the second race of the day.
