Reminder: Sewage Disposal Rules & Regulations
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources [DENR] said they “wish to remind boaters of Bermuda’s rules and regulations for boat sewage disposal.”
A Government spokesperson said, “Please review the attached flyer and visit the DENR’s Environmental Obligations for Vessels Visiting Bermuda webpage on gov.bm for more information. Boaters are urged to dispose of boat waste in an environmentally responsible manner.”

HA! So who will be paying any attention to this one? Unenforceable in the first place. Who is going to pay for a pump out? Who is going to burn very expensive fuel to go get pumped out?
The only time it is a noticeable problem is Paradise Lake, otherwise known as Poo Poo Lake, over Cup Match. Good thing that the tide flushes the place out twice a day.
Gave up going there, or any area during big raftups, years ago.
Nice thought though.
