The much anticipated Cup Match Classic got underway today [July 28] at the Somerset Cricket Club [SCC].

The challengers St. George’s Cricket Club won the toss and elected to bat, they were bowled out for 113, after being 72/2, Treadwell Gibbons was the top scorer with 34, OJ Pitcher added 17. Kamau Leverock was the pick of the Somerset Cricket Club bowlers returning figures of 9-3-17-3, Dion Stovell had figures of 14-4-28-, and Derrick Brangman bowled 6-2-13-2.
