Video: Nineteen Police Officers Promoted
Eleven Police Constables were promoted to the rank of Sergeant, seven Sergeants were promoted to the rank of Inspector and one Inspector was promoted to the rank of Chief Inspector.
The Bermuda Police Service said, “The Commissioner of Police Mr. Darrin Simons, is pleased to announce the promotions of 19 officers.
“On 4th August, 2022, 11 Constables were promoted to the rank of Sergeant, 7 Sergeants were promoted to the rank of Inspector and one Inspector was promoted to the rank of Chief Inspector.
“A small ceremony was held at the Police Recreation Club, in the presence of family, friends and colleagues. Speakers included, Minister of National Security Mr. Michael Weeks JP, MP, COP Mr. Darrin Simons and Acting Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Na’imah Astwood.
