Bermuda Tennis Team Win Davis Cup Opener
The Davis Cup is underway in Trinidad & Tobago with the Bermuda tennis team — consisting of Gavin Manders, James Finnigan, Trey Mallory and Tariq Simons — making an excellent start to claim a 3-0 victory over Haiti.
Mallory got Bermuda off to a good start defeating James Adler Germinal in straight sets 7-5, 6-2. This match took 1 hour and 16 seconds to complete, Mallory had 3 aces, but he also had 6 double faults. Mallory got 65% of his first serves in, he also executed 5 of 7 break points at 71%.

In the doubles, Manders and Finnigan defeated Junior Bazanne and Germinal in straight sets 6-1, 7-6 in a 1 hour and 26-minute battle.
