Madelyn Moore Sets Another National Record

Swimmer Madelyn Moore has set another Bermuda national record at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Moore finished sixth in her heat in the 50 metres backstroke semi-finals at the Sandwell Aquatics Centre tonight [Aug 2] in 29.18sec.

It was the second national record she has set at these Games after also swimming a personal best in the 50 freestyle heats in 25.72 on Sunday.

Her teammate Emma Harvey also competed in the 50 backstroke semi-finals tonight, coming sixth in her heat in 29.27. It was the pair’s final swim at the Sandwell Aquatics Centre.
