Corporation Advises On Ticketing System

The Corporation of Hamilton is advising the public that “parking tickets take two days to enter and process in the computerized ticketing system.”

A spokesperson said, “The public should also be advised that parking tickets take two days [48 hours] to enter and process in the computerized ticketing system. Therefore, individuals should not attempt to pay any tickets before the two days have lapsed.”

A spokesperson previously said, “The Corporation of Hamilton would like to advise the public that there is a significant volume of individuals who currently have outstanding parking tickets.

“Summonses are currently being issued and offenders will be put before the courts.

“We are advising all individuals with outstanding tickets to make arrangements with the court to pay their tickets.

“If members of the public have any questions, they can contact the Court Liaison Unit [Police Prosecutions] at 247-1720 or 247-1743.”
