Pembroke Hamilton Club’s Black & White Week

Pembroke Hamilton Club [PHC] is “currently hosting a Black and White spirit week leading up to the Club’s first game back under the lights at Stadium Lane [PHC Field], located in Warwick, in over 20 years.”

A spokesperson said, “Black and White week kicked off yesterday, September 19 with Membership Monday which focused on growing the PHC community through official club membership.

“Today, September 20 is Trivia Tuesday which gives participants a chance to win a prize through the Club’s digital platforms [Twitter and Instagram: PHC_Zebras; Facebook: ZebrasPHC]. Tomorrow is Wear Your Stripes Wednesday, which encourages the community to wear black and white or zebra print, followed by Throwback Thursday on September 22, featuring historic photos shared on the Club’s digital platforms.

“The grand finale, Friday, September 23, is Football Friday back under the lights at Stadium Lane which will see a double-header sporting event.

“The PHC Master’s team will open the evening at 7 PM as they take on the North Village Master’s team in a friendly match before PHC’s Senior Men’s Team take on Southampton Rangers’ First Division side in a friendly game under the lights at 9 PM.”

“In addition to the two featured games, gates will open earlier to allow those to come in and enjoy Friday Happy Hour starting at 6 PM. The entry fee for the evening is $5.00. We will have food on sale, a photo section, a DJ and more,” said Michael Trott, PHC Club President.

“It is truly a community event and we know that the entire PHC community is excited to bring night games back to Stadium Lane, so we are hoping for a great turnout”.
