Cleveland County, Southampton Rangers,  St. George’s Cricket Club, and Warwick Workmen’s all recorded victories in this weekend’s Premier Division T20 cricket action.

Cleveland County Won by 22 Runs: Cleveland County 116/5 Somerset Cricket Club 94/5

At Lord’s in St. David’s, Cleveland County batted first and scored 116/5 in their allotted 20 overs, Mackih McGowan was the top scorer with 70 which came off 49 balls, he hit 2 fours, and 6 sixes. Greg Maybury was the pick of the Somerset Cricket Club bowlers returning figures of 4-1-13-1.

In reply the Somerset Cricket Club could only manage 94/5, Matt Watson was the top scorer with 42, McGowan was the pick of the Cleveland County bowlers with figures of 4-0-22-2.

Southampton Rangers Won by 86 Runs: Southampton Rangers 212/3 Bailey’s Bay 126

At the Sea Breeze Oval, the Southampton Rangers defeated Bailey’s Bay by 86 runs, Southampton Rangers batted first and scored 212/3, Janeiro Tucker was the top scorer with 91, which came off 56 balls, he hit 6 fours and 7 sixes, Charles Trott added 60 off 19 ball, hitting 2 fours and 8 sixes. Sharye Tavares was the pick of the Bailey’s Bay bowlers returning figures of 4-0-37-2.

In reply, Bailey’s Bay were bowled out for 126, Terryn Fray was the top scorer with 47, while Dion Stovell was the pick of the Southampton Rangers bowlers with figures of 4-1-12-4, Tucker bowled 3.2-0-20-3.

St. George’s Cricket Club Won by 9 Wickets: Western Stars 68/6 St. George’s Cricket Club 69/1

At the Wellington Oval, this match was reduced to a 13 over match, Western Stars batted first and scored 68/6 in their allotted overs, Tre Manders was the top scorer with 20, while Allan Douglas II was the pick of the St. George’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 3-0-11-4.

At the Wellington Oval, Western Stars would fall for the second time on the day as Warwick Workmen’s Club defeated them by 6 wickets. Batting first Western Stars scored 114/7, Dante Wellman was the top scorer with 36, while Luke Fulton was the pick of the Warwick Workmen’s Club bowlers with figures of 4-0-23-4.

In reply, Warwick Workmen’s Club scored 118/4, Cory Burgess was the top scorer with 27, while Seth Campbell was the pick of the Western Stars bowlers with figures of 4-0-26-2.

St. George’s Cricket Club Won by 1 Wicket: Bailey’s Bay 90/9 St. George’s Cricket Club 91/9

At the sea Breeze oval the St. George’s Cricket Club were crowned the Premier Division Champions for a second year in a row following their 1 wicket victory over Bailey’s Bay.

Bailey’s Bay batted first and scored 90/9, Sharye Tavares was the top scorer with 35, Nzari Paynter was the pick of the St. George’s Cricket Club bowlers with figures of 2-0-10-2.

In reply St. George’s Cricket Club scored 91/9, Jonte Smith was the top scorer with 23, Kyle Hodsoll was the pick of the Bailey’s Bay bowlers with figures of 4-0-17-4.

Cleveland County Won by 59 Runs: Cleveland County 154/3 Southampton Rangers 95
