$50,000 In Free Whip Rides Up For Grabs
Whip said they have “dedicated to give part of a pool of $50,000 in Whip Ride credits to every user that follows the simple steps to qualify in the next week.”
A spokesperson said, “Who doesn’t like free? Now is your chance to claim your part in the $50,000 Whip giveaway. As Bermuda’s leader in rideshare micromobility Whip Rideshare is dedicated to push the envelope in green sustainable transport in Bermuda.
“In an effort to encourage new users to see how affordable, convenient, and fun the Whip service is and get people driving cars and bikes less they have decided to give back to the Bermuda community. You must either be a current user or register as a new user. Whip has dedicated to give part of a pool of $50,000 in Whip Ride credits to every user that follows the simple steps to qualify in the next week.
To qualify:
- Download the Whip Rideshare App [available through www.grabawhip.com].
- Complete registration including adding your card details.
- Take a minimum of 1 or more rides in the next week.

“The deadline to qualify is all those that have completed the above steps in the next week by Friday October 14th, so don’t delay! After this deadline they will distribute the credits to those who have followed the instructions.
“Whip e-scooters can be found throughout the island at many convenient hub locations or Whip Zones. You can actually use a Whip to conveniently get to and from anywhere you need to go on island. You do not have to return them to a Whip Zone or where you found the Whip originally.
“Simply scan a Whip from the Whip App and take it where you want to go. Once there swipe to end your ride. Reconnect the helmet to the helmet lock which automatically opens each time a ride starts for a user to use the helmet. When you finish your ride just leave them Whip neatly placed out of the way of obstructing any driveways or entranceways. When in the City of Hamilton or St Georges it is asked to please utilize bike parking bays as opposed to leaving Whips on the sidewalk.
“Whip is an on demand service. You are billed for what time you use. It is $3 to start a ride and 50 cents a minute. Need it for an hour its $30 plus the unlock fee, need it for ten minutes its $5 plus the unlock fee etc. For those frequent users you can pre-purchase credit packages which give bulk discounts. A full battery can take you from one side of the island to the other. Please wear helmets, keep to the left when riding and be socially responsible and respectful of others. Don’t park or ride on sidewalks and park neatly in a convenient location for the next user when finished.
Least those whips and now those pink things blend in with the rest of the island. Trashy looking litter
