Dudley Eve Semi-Final: Trojans & Cougars Win
The Somerset Trojans and the defending champions Devonshire Cougars will battle in the Dudley Eve final on Friday, November 11th at the Devonshire Recreation Club following their semi-final victories at the PHC Stadium.
Somerset Trojans 1 – Hamilton Parish 0
In the opener, the Somerset Trojans edged Hamilton Parish 1 – 0.
The lone goal of the game came in the 32nd minute when DeAndre Wainwright found the back of the net.
North Village Rams 2 Devonshire Cougars 3
In the nightcap, the defending champions Devonshire Cougars edged the North Village Rams 3 – 2.
Zari Simmons gave the Devonshire cougars the lead in the 7th minute, but Justin Bell would equalize for the North Village Rams five minutes later. In the 23rd minute, Elisha Darrell gave the Devonshire Cougars the lead, Darrell would score his second goal of the game in the 44th minute to give the Devonshire Cougars a 3 – 1 lead.
In the 53rd minute, Jaizel Smith Deshields pulled a goal back for the North Village Rams making the score 3 – 2, however, they could not find the equalizer as the match would end with the defending champions advancing to the final.
