There is boat on fire in St George’s today [Oct 9]. Further details are limited at this time, however we will update as able and in the meantime, a video is below.
Update: BFRS Acting Sergeant Gavin Carter said, “The call was received through 911 at 1:42pm of a boat on fire at Dowling’s Marina. Boat was towed to Marginal Wharf where it was extinguished by the Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service using a turret monitor at 2:39pm at which time the vessel sunk. Clearwater and Hamilton Stations were in attendance. A total of 10 Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service personnel in 5 vehicles were in attendance. “
