Photos: 2022 World Triathlon Women’s Elite Race
The 2022 World Triathlon Series [WTS] Bermuda event took place on Sunday with a number of world class triathletes in action in the women’s elite race including Bermudians Dame Flora Duffy and Erica Hawley.
Dame Flora thrilled the home crowd by winning the race, Taylor Knibb from the USA was second, while Beth Potter from Great Britain was third. Erica Hawley was one of the athletes who did not finish, as despite her best efforts, the wet roads caused issues and she slid out on the cycling portion; fortunately she was not seriously injured.
