Delays In Mail Continue Between UK & Bermuda

December 2, 2022

The Bermuda Post Office [BPO] is advising “that there continue to be delays experienced with international mail between the UK and Bermuda” which is “due to the ongoing Royal Mail industrial action, which is causing delivery delays and service disruptions.”

A Government spokesperson said, “The BPO is encouraging residents to post mail items as early as possible, as they work with Royal Mail and other international postal partners to ensure the timely delivery of mail, especially for Christmas. The BPO apologises for any inconvenience caused and assures that it will continue to accept mail destined to the UK and other destinations.”

I have to say I have recieved parcels at the post office and sent a bottle of honey to Tennessee which reached within a week and the ladies were very nice and professional unlike when I got treated like garbage and came away feeling I had been robbed at ZipX.

That’s about the average time it takes to get a local letter from Hamilton to Warwick , unless it’s your belco bill which amazingly takes an average of 24 hours from time of printing to delivery.
